Cathay Camps will purchase insurance for all campers covering the duration of the program within China.
7. Supervision and Code of Conduct
All campers are supervised by our team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at a counselor-to-camper ratio of 1:5. Campers are expected to:
- Treat all staff, fellow campers, and the communities they visit with respect. Discrimination or harassment of any kind — including on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or nationality — will not be tolerated
- Refrain from behavior that is disruptive, dangerous, or harmful to others
- Refrain from bullying, verbal aggression, or physical confrontation of any kind
- Comply with rules regarding electronics, curfews, and room arrangements
If a camper violates the code of conduct, Cathay Camps will contact the parent or guardian promptly to discuss the situation and agree on a resolution. In serious cases, the camper may be removed from the program without refund.
8. Photographs and Media
Cathay Camps may photograph or film participants during the program for documentation, internal records, and promotional purposes. By registering, parents and guardians consent to this use of images.
